With more than 35 years of plaintiff-side advocacy and multiple offices in California, the firm is looking for an attorney to take the lead on an active caseload. The case mix includes individual FEHA employment cases (harassment, retaliation, discrimination, whistleblower), as well as child sexual abuse and therapist abuse cases. This position involves meaningful client interaction with sensitive populations and is ideal for an experienced attorney seeking leadership responsibility over a dynamic and impactful caseload. Trial experience is required.

Responsibilities:
* Manage a litigation caseload of 20+ cases
* Take and defend depositions
* Draft and argue motions, including MSJ oppositions, demurrer oppositions, motions to compel, etc.
* Manage discovery, including document review and production
* Attend court hearings, mediations, and other required proceedings
* Develop litigation strategy and case planning
* Delegate work to associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
* Work effectively in a remote environment

Required Skills & Experience:
* 5+ years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience
* Experience taking/defending depositions, arguing motions, and negotiating in mediation
* Trial and/or arbitration experience
* Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
* Proven experience managing support staff and junior attorneys
* Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status. We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the California Fair Chance Act, City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance. For unincorporated Los Angeles county, to the extent our customers require a background check for certain positions, the Company faces a significant risk to its business operations and business reputation unless a review of criminal history is conducted for those specific job positions.
